New Leaf: Services For Our Community returns to beautiful Teatro ZinZanni, on Pier 29 at San Francisco 's Embarcadero, for another spectacular night of celebrity entertainment, delicious cuisine by Taste Catering and a wonderful silent auction. Entering its fourth decade of service to the broader San Francisco-Bay Area, New Leaf is the leading professional counseling and support services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities.

New Leaf's Spring Gala has grown to become an annual
attraction for prominent philanthropists who through their generosity
enable our pioneering and effective services to reach those who
are in greatest need. Raising nearly $100,000 yearly, the event
has drawn hundreds, including celebrities ~ this year we have confirmed
legendary author and beloved San Francisco resident, Armistead
Maupin, as well as renowned jazz singer, Paula
West ~ in years past we have been joined by Alan
Cumming, Olympia Dukakis,
Cloris Leachman and Bruce
Vilanch; well-known civic and community leaders such
as San Francisco Supervisor Bevan Dufty and,
Treasurer Jose Cisneros; and, devoted
New Leaf supporters including Al Baum,
Jay Cohen and, Nancy Kokolj.
